Default Got my Rugged Ridge XHD stubby installed.

Took a bit longer than others have posted, about 4 hours. But my biggest trouble was getting the old bumper off. I had to soak the bolts in WD-40 for a while, but they eventually came off.

I had a little bit of a hard time bolting the new bumper on too... but it all finally came together...

I also got the hoop and installed it facing forward. My wife helped me and even she thinks it looks great. I appreciate how we can use the factory fogs and not have to buy new ones.

My wife says it's no longer a "bumper" she says it's a "crusher" hahaha!!

Getting a winch for my birthday next month. I've temporarilly attached my front plate to the fairlead hole with wire until I get the winch installed, just to be legal. (not shown in the pics) I wish Utah didn't require front plates, it's so ugly.

I love it... feels more rugged. (no pun intended.)

Looks good.

Mine should be here on Tuesday.

Did it cause the front to "sag" any?

Honestly, I can't really tell... it's not that heavy, but it's a bit more than the stock. I'm sure once the winch is on, I may notice.

As of now, I can't see any difference.

Mine is due to arrive today. I bought the non winch version and will be adding two more lights.

I see that the directions say to mount forward or backward according to preference, but what direction should the hoop face to work with lights?

I don't think it will matter because the light tabs will be on the bumper.i guess it will come down to preference. I think that forward might give a little more protection for the lights though.I'm going to have to flip my hoop around and see which way i like it better so i can weld some tabs on it for some lights

I'm looking at the Smittybuilt from Quadratech for $299. It's a starter winch but will suit my needs for the time being.

3/8ths of an inch isn't that bad of a sag. Thanks.
