is he talking about how his wheels are IN too much by a half inch?? if he wanted 5 inch instead of 4.5 that would push them out a bit more to make them flush he said, so he wants that wider stance.
That looks awesome though like the wheels

More backspacing = farther in. B.S. is distance from wheel mounting surface to inside edge of rim...

Just 1.75" front spacers and 1" rear spacers.


Thanks for the positive comments... I do like the wheels and tires, and I'm sure the new stance will grow on me.

Yeah, that super nice. These tires are very very functional. I have buds who run these and they don't lack traction on the rocks or in the mud (if you spin them fast enough). Nice setup.

Looks good RubiJK. You will like the STT's...very quiet on the pavement and a great tread for mud and off-roading. I personally like the wider stance....the 5" BS would suck that tire into much...the wider stance makes your JK looking meaner...imho!

5" vs 4.5" BS.

The 5" BS would push the rim and tire closer to the suspension components as you get smaller BS the further it gets from the suspension components.
