Got hit on Sunday
Hey all,
Driving home from church on Sunday afternoon a Toyota Camry took a left hand turn and pulled out in front of us.
In order not to rear end the vehicle, that just cut us off, we swerved to the left (luckily there was no oncoming traffic) while the vehicle behind us swerved to the right.
The other party said that she was trying to make a "quick" u-turn out of first parking lot, into traffic, and then into the next lot.
I used my turn signal on shes said. . . . .
Unfortunately swerving into the other lane so that we did not hit her in the rear put us parallel with her vehicle, as she continued her u-turn motion, she slammed into the side of us.
Why didnt we go off the road on the right and avoid this . . . there was a dirt embankment that goes up and didnt want to risk flipping. In a split second i decided to pull left as there was no oncoming traffic, thinking that the vehicle would continue straight and I would pull back into my lane.
Sadly that didnt happen. . . .
Im looking at two new wheels and hopefully a new front end.
The entire axle now sits almost 2 inches to the drivers side.

No just dumb
They have actually started having a police detail to help the traffic flow on the weekends. (Its an indoor sports complex)
Just my luck no detail on Sunday afternoon.
Previously they allowed on street parking which was a nightmare trying to drive by but because it was so dangerous they have not been allowing it.

I had the same thing happen to me. The good thing is that your gonna get a new axles housing and you can get c gussets put on for free. I made them add everything new to my front end and weld me on some gussets free of charge while they still had it out.
