only thing i'm gonna immediately change is get rid of the gawd-awful looking dual exhaust the p/o put on there... sticks out WAY too far... i may end up putting the stock muffler that came off my wife's JK Unlimited on there since i've still got it.

the thing is pretty much loaded (power, nav, hard top) and i'm excited... makes a nice addition to my jeep family.

here's our '09 Unlimited X

one thing of note... i didn't realize they changed the latched on the freedom top between 07 and 09... our '09 has a latch on the center loop on the windshield frame, while this '07 doesn't... is that why everyone used to complain about the freedom top leaking?

i don't think so. i have a '09 and my top leaked even though i have the latch in the middle.the dealer said they had to change the rubber lining around the windshield and doors and in between the two small tops. thats what stopped the leaks.

nice 07, is this going to be your daily driver or are you turning it into a trail rig?

it's gonna stay pretty much stock for a while... daily driver... moderate trails... i can't NOT wheel it... haha..
since my wife's is all beefy, she'll wheel hers, and i'll consider it a challenge to keep up with her (or vice-versa).. we'll test the theory "lift/big tires/open diffs VS. stock w/ lockers"

would be an interesting showdown... only thing i worry about is that vulnerable electric swaybar disco on the rubi

btw... loving the MyGig... didn't realize just how cool that thing is...
i think the wifey is jealous of that

also, anyone got any quick tips on what to look out for on the '07 as far as first model year glitches?
