Default Got the 2010 Jeep Detailed

I had a great detailer come out to the house and work his magic on the paint. He spent about 6 hours working just on the paint. He spent about 45 minutes just taping off the plastic parts of the car.

I am amazed at how great the paint came out on the car. I wish I could have gotten a good picture of how clean the paint was.

Going to get the clear bra on this week.

Looks like new again. LOL..I would love to call a detailer over to the house just after returning from offroading. I'd make sure the whole thing was covered in muck!

That's a lot of time in labor. Curious...How much did the job cost you?

The question is: Does it make it look brand new?

Default There's no shine like MOTHERS

I go through a roll of blue tape, mask the plastic, then use the clay bar. Last step is rub-down with some MOTHERS carnuba.

I have had mine almost two years to the day and have only washed it three times, and the third was when I just got it back from EVO last week (they detailed it without my consent)

I am a fan of a clean jeep. I try to clean mine weekly. I had the clear bra put on before I picked it up and it has been abused. The nice thing is whe you take it off can't can't tell there was any rocks or bugs.
FYI keep it waxed now, if you don't you will eventually get puffing swirls in it. Yhis happens an tie you use one. I guess I'm telling you this because I use to be a detailer. How much did he charge you for this?

MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM YOU JUST HAD IT WAXED. They are going to have to strip it off for the bra to stick.

Well I wash mine with some soap and water once in a while. I have 3 kids, so its the inside, mainly the backseat, that needs to be detailed. I had a critter chew a whole in my backseat 'cuz the kids spilled some food and it ate everything including the fabric.

That's a beautful JK in the pic. Not sure what/where this car is that you speak of is but I do dig your Jeep!
