Default GoPro HD

I recently got a gopro camera and took some footage the other day driving around some snowy roads in my area. The flexibility of this camera is amazing, you can put it anywhere!

Here is a worthless statement, that should be worth a prorated five minutes of your life.

Good quality on the video.

Thanks for the positive comments. I wasn't doing anything exciting with the camera, just trying it out to see different angles I could shoot in the future.

I have taken so many pointless vids with mine just finding the best spots to put it for whellin. The down fall with this camara is that it is fixed so finding the best spot takes some time.

I got one for X-Mas. I also have the older standard def camera, & the video quality is not so good. As a result, I really haven't used it much. Pretty much a waste of $$. I took both cameras out & shot the same stretch of trail for comparison. Even played back on a non-HD tv, the difference is amazing. I love the GoPro HD!
Here's a tip for those of you looking for a place to mount it: Get their Handlebar/Seatpost mount for bicycles. ($19 on Amazon) It mounts perfectly on the rear view mirror post. At least it does on my ZJ, I don't know about the JK. The only problem with that, (& it's a small one) is that it has to mount upside down. The old camera has a setting for filming upside down. The new HD dosen't just yet. Last week, GoPro told me that the free firmware update for "Upside Down Mode" should be online in a few weeks. In the mean time, most editing software allows you to flip the video to get it right side up again. These cameras are really cool. As more & more people get them, I expect we'll start to see some really cool off road footage. Keep filming omni2377!
