What do you think of this weld? A shop did it a few days ago. I think it sucks. What are my options? Can I somehow deweld the TB bracket from the stock frame mount and salvage the parts or is my best bet to cut everything off back to the frame and start over? Can I just cut or deweld the bracket extension and save my stock frame mount? Thanks

If it is in the right position, a good shop could grind and reweld without completely removing it.
I agree, looks like that person never used a welder before.

That's definitely not EVO quality lol. Yeah, I'd take that back and have someone else fix it.

Holy 3rd grade welding! How much did you pay for that? I hope nothing. I would find a buddy or a good shop that can weld. You can grind that all down with it still attached and burn though their crap welds and have a better cleaner line. Also look into getting a frame mounted tb brace. It would triple your strength.

I'm speculating, but it appears the fit-up was poor, making a quality fillet weld impossible. For a good fillet weld, you need full contact along the entire joint. If they have to grind most of this away, you are probably looking at a significant gap, and may need to go with a backer bar and a full pen weld. Find a real welder, and he will know what to do.
