Have this Smittybilt bumper and I really dislike the tubes sticking out toward the sides. Should I cut them off and make it a stubby? Or should I try to sell it and buy a stubby.

It would look good as a stubby if you can cut and make everything smooth. You'll have to do some welding to fill the holes where you cut. I'd say go for it I you have a welding machine, grinder, etc.

Edit: actually you may just need to cut and grind. That wouldn't be to difficult. Paint and your good to go.

I agree. Cut them if you think finish it nicely otherwise sell it. I'm not a fan of tubes like that.

I had a similar Smittybilt bumper on my TJ. I cut it, and I liked how it turned out.

Much better! Now I'm thinking about cutting the grill guard off and making my own stinger.
