Default Fuel Trophy 17" on 255/75/17 BFG MT

Being too broke for all new wheels and rubber, but too bored to do nothing, I ordered just 1 Trophy 17" 4.5" BS in the Gunmetal to see how these looked in person.
Had it test fitted and then mounted to a standard BFG MT 255/75/17 that I had.
Very impressed with these wheels. Even nicer looking in person. It is a nice rich deep gunmetal colour...not as silver as they show in pictures. They definitely are begging for bigger rubber, but pleasantly surprised even on these.
Now I just have to find a way to get 4 more...

What's the width of the rim?
If wider than the stock, then it will take a better range of sizes.
I agree; looks good. Save those pennies!

These are 8.5", so should be good for anything I could realistically want down the road.

Ha! I know exactly what you mean! I've been through so many "favourites", only to change my mind. Procomp 7069, ATX Artillery Teflon, AEV Pintler, XD Addict etc...etc....etc...

Some seem to suit only certain tire sizes to get that "perfect" look. Some I liked on other colour jeeps, but not on the red.

These are so new, that there wasn't any reference pics of this exact combination. I put it here mainly as a reference for others.

This one I ordered from 4 Wheel Parts because at the time it was on sale including free shipping.

Not this particular version. This is the D552 with simulated ring. I believe the D105 has a functional ring. I read that those are very expensive, but don't know much about them and information seems hard to come by. There is another post on here in which they talk about a price, but that was with some custom work that was done to them.
