I've had my mid-width for over a year now, and it's been great. No complaints about it. One nice thing is that the skid plate that protects your sway bar motor (if your Jeep is so equipped) has the added benefit of increasing the difficulty of stealing your winch.

Same here... Rugged Ridge winch bumper and Superwinch EP9 winch. I had to drill new mounting holes as the cable spool is centered on this winch where it's offset with other winches. The pre-drilled holes are aligned to accommodate the off-center drum. Not a big deal as Superwinch provided a template for the mounting holes.

The Shrockworks mid-width is bomb-proof. The only bad thing is the wait--and if Screamin' Lizard has one in stock you may be able to duck that. It's top-notch in every respect, but perhaps one point of distinction is the way a Warn PowerPlant fits into it. Look at most (all?) other bumpers and the PowerPlant stick up nastily. Not so in the Shrockworks:

I know about the bumper comparo in the noob thread, but I still want to see some pics/opinions of members rides.
that's a good price, especially if you'll be happy with it. I love my Shrocks front winch/stubby, it's stout, I'll probably be going with the rear Shrock stubby too.
