Default Front bumper

I'm a noob when it comes to most things jeep seeing as I just got mine around the new year and I'm just now starting to mod. I've seen the term "chopped bumper" floating around referring to the front bumper. Can someone explain this to me? Pics please.

Not mine....but is a good reference. The ends of bumper are cut off and caps in their place.

Do you just cut off the ends and screw in a new end piece?

I had the VDP caps on my old OE bumper and really liked them. Install was literally less than 15 minutes.

It's pretty much that easy. Make a couple measurements, chop off ends, drill holes for the endcaps, and install.

Easy cheesy. I stubbied mine because I could not decide on a aftermarket bumper, plus right now I only have a spacer lift so I don't want to put too much weight out there until I put coils on it.

Great job on your install. The winch really looks nice mounted inside the bumper.
