Freshly chopped Fenders!
I used WOL's write-up and they came out great. Check it out
The taping process:
All 4 fenders removed for the trimming:
Finished and installed with cut sub-structure and rubber molding installed:
It's a work in progress, so far it's sitting on a 2.5" BB, 1" BL, and the trimmed flares. Next Saturday is reserved for trimming my rock rails, pinch seam, and dealing with my clearance issues with the stock bumpers. Then slap on my 37s! It looks crazy right now with all that clearance and the stock 32s haha.

You did a good job on the fenders. Agreed, that mod looks weird w/o big tires and stubby bumpers though. Better get crackin'.
Edit: Why trim the rock rails?
Also, aren't most guys doing this mod retaining the inner fenders so as to protect the engine from debris/slop/mud/rocks/etc?

Look how close the rails are to the rear tire, with 37s and this small of a lift it becomes necessary to trim them in the rear to make clearance for the tires, especially while flexing. Same goes for the pinch seam there also. As far as the inner fender side skirts go, I would like to reinstall them, at least in the front. The only problem is that I have to come up with a new way of mounting them because half of the mounting supports are now non existent and chopped off where it mounted to the fenders in the front.
