Yes a diesel would be sweet....add on a programmer (STACKABLE), CAI, bigger exhaust, bigger turbo....if you want to go nuts add on propane injection....you have a JK on ROIDS that would stomp on the HEMI's.

I'd like to see a diesel. I even thought about putting a 4bt in the wifes when she gets tired of it and waiting a new one. But that will be down the road a few years. Living in Ohio dont have the emission to worry about. That least the part I live in.

That new 4.8 from chevy is a little powerhouse and still light. I just bought a 5.3L and have been thinking about slapping it in the JK instead of my S-10 lol!!
what would be NICE is the 4.5L baby Dmax. 520 #FT of tourqe STOCK!!!!! and it will fit where ANY 5.3L fits. slap that in a JK and HOLD ON!!!

The only problem is the 3.0 is a mercedes engine and the eletrical nightmare would blow your mind. It take multiple systems to make it run not just the engine.

I agree that the baby D-Max would be great; but I understand it has been put on hold for a while yet... But I would love to stuff the 6.6 D-Max under the hood of my JK...
