Besides the aftermarket foot peg that is out there, has anyone made their own?

I have been tossing around the idea of making footpegs for on the freeway. Right now I rest my foot on my rockrails and it's comfortable most of the time but I think a peg might be better.

What kind of idea did you have to fab one up? I hadn't thought about it, but if you have the basics, I can try putting something together.

There is a thread on here. It looks like most just use Harley foot pegs and hang them on the bottom hinge

I agree with the idea, I find myself putting my foot on the hinge and that is most likely not a good idea.

I want some pics when you guys find them!
