Flowmaster 40 Series Sound Clip

I currently have the 40 delta on my JK now. It sounds mean, but I am deaf and for some reason it is not loud enough and sounds kind of high pitched to me? I run a K and N drop in filter as well. AEM Brute Force on the way and I hope it opens up some more balls from my exhaust like it did with my Dad's rubicon.

On my last trip i was behind a jk with a 40 series flowmaster on it. It droned so loudly into my cab being behind him when climbing up a hill, sounds pretty good though

Mine doesn't have any drone or resonance at all. Maybe its because I have a delta flow? I revved it up while leaving one leg hanging out and I could barely feel it. Oh well... maybe with the intake it will be better.

I put the Flowmaster 40 series on about 4 months ago. It sounds great at idle, nice low tone. I paid 178 for mine with a tip. My gas milage actually went down from 23 to 21 mpg. Its my favorite sounding exhaust for the jk right now. My next one might be the gibson dual just to see if there is any performance difference. But i know it doesn't sound as mean as the 40 series!!!

Interesting. Mine is in stock location. Maybe it's just because I'm deaf or because its cold and the flows are not getting up to temp. I could actually touch it right after driving.
