Flowmaster 40 Series Install - Pics & Vids
Finally got around to getting back to the muffler shop and had the Flowmaster 40 Series installed.
I'm pretty happy with it. Its not too loud, not too ricey and I like the bass it puts out around 2k RPM. Also it works hand in hand with my AirRaid when I step on the pedal: as soon as I let off the gas the AirRaid silences and the exhaust bellows. Kinda cool. Sounds nothin compared to my fiancee's Mustang GT but it is only a mini-van engine
Anyway heres some pics and vids:
Video & Sound:

Took about an hour and ended up costing 208 with parts/supplies/labor.

Nice. Good job with the video (you knew everyone was gonna ask for sound clips right?)
Speaking of; maybe a video driving around maybe getting on the freeway at full throttle?
I'm really wanting new exhaust but I'm afraid of the "rice effect" with the v6.
Anyway, looks great, seems like 200.00 well spent.

I suppose I could do this. On the drive home I took the freeway and it seems that it gets very quiet once your RPM's are above 3500 (at least from inside the cab). Maybe I'll get my fiancee to do a driveby while I listen and record.

Not necessarily "missing" but yes there is only one hanger. It was a really sturdy install so its not going anywhere.
I'll see what I can do about getting some sound/video on the highway.
I do have to say that it seems like its already "breaking in." It may be all in my head but I can honestly say that it gave my Jeep a little get up and go in the 1-2k RPM range when I hit the pedal. I'm liking it alot
