Pic #2 look at your shock shaft....bet your frame has rub mine did...moved my mounts out an inch and rotated the lower mount 90 degrees....

Also your spring is unseated should add a spacer to push down to put some pressure on the drooped side.

I'd address the spring issue and the frame rub first in seated spring doesn't do anything for traction and longer shocks won't add anything if the tires free floating...
The shock in front can bend a shaft I've bent mine.

What shocks you running...

Ive already addressed the shocks when i got home.

As for the coil im not adding a spacer im already at 5" of lift wich is overkill. Even though its unseated it still helps. The tires on the ground and theres still weight pushing down. But your correct it would help a little ideally coil covers are really the only fix id allow and id also run a smaller lift.

There skyjackers m95 monos with a little over 12 inch travel. Longer shocks will still help overall travel as mine are both maxed out completely.. But i will have to fab up new shock mounts to fit the longer shocks. Luckily im doing all that in the rear in a week or 2 as im prepping for a stretch.

Just had this discussion with another...if the tire is unweighted the 80lbs the tire weighs isn't going to do squat for traction when the vehicle weighs several thousand pounds...
Walk up a hill drag a foot lightly as if to take a step unweighted and see how it slides now put more weight and notice the friction of drag or the push into the ground gives it resistance and it will climb.

Unseated springs are neat but useless for the most part and that's the reason coilovers with a sacrificial spring are good...

So I don't think longer shocks are the answer it'll look cool in pictures but non weighted droop isn't effective...physics depict this not me....

What stretch are you going to do? Coil over or stay with coil, cut into tub or try synergy rear shock mounts?

Just curious I'm getting ready to do mine and I'm going to Fab a rear bucket and go into the rear with coilovers... figure I'll probably move the has tank at the same time to a tj one and raise the floor in rear to accommodate it and keep seats...

Im not saying it's ideal but better than the tire in the air.. Coil overs are my only solution ill allow.

As for the stretch im fabbing it all up. Ive already made the control arms. I will be cutting the tub and setting up the shock mounts to use eye to eye do i can use either. Ill be able to keep the tank and seats also. Ill fabbing up new coil Mounts but may remove them once i get new shocks down the road.
