Well having alot of flex is "cool" but not needed. With a 5-6" lift and the right shocks/other needed suspension components you will have plenty. Too much lift will cause your jeep to be too unstable and hurt you more than it will help. Another thing to think about is your wheelbase. In my opinion 40's are too big for that wheelbase......37's are the max id run.

Wow, it's amazing what you've done to your Jeep so far. Aren't you only 19 or 20 years old? Anyway, keep us posted.

i under stand im not going for the "cool" look i want to build my jeep for rock crawling and mudding and yes a show truck....ive seen jeeps on 40's around here and they do just fine... i dont think the wheel base is going to cause a problem. i plan on building this the right way it will take time and a lot of money... im going to take no short cuts

dana 44's with 40's is just like a dana 30 with 37's

if you are building it, just build it with 60's, do it right the first time

39.5x18 boggers are real heavy for even built 44's. Go 1 ton so you can go crazy and not have to worry. Just my thought
