This will not look any worse with BW than a chopped flare... A chopped flare creates an even larger appearing gap between the flare and tire.
Exactly why I'm telling him to not do it! haha

Even when I had 33's the flat fenders made them look small, which is why I'm now doing 35's and I don't even have a lift!

Here is a picture of the 33's with only a .75" spacer in the front to help get rid of the factory rake. So if they look small, just imagine how stock tires look.

Yup, I agree. I may go with the jeepswag trimming of just the front of the flare, fronts only. Sometimes I get something in my head and tend to run with it, glad I asked this time. Thanks much.

After the jeepswag.com trim. Not too much, added an LED running light to each side.
