Default Flat black grille

Saw a few jeeps with this and love the look. Anybody know what kinda paint would be best and show off your pics! Anyone with a maroon jeep would be PERFECT, would love to see the look of that

I would use plasti dip, it's not "permanent" per-say since you can peel it off. Its like spray on clear bra but in black.

Rustoleum spray on bedliner. My opinion, the plastidip looks like poop.

I used flat primer. Ordered an additional grill from eBay. Invested 60$ in project. Looks great. Can go back to stock grill or repaint primer easily.

It depends if you like a smooth or a rough texture and it is all about prep. Do a crappy prep job and you will get a crappy finish.

Bedliner will have a rough texture to it, while Plastidip and traditional spray paints will have a smooth finish.

IMO the bedlined grilles look the best plus they will never chip, you can find other threads on it if you like the look. Was thinking about doing the same thing but changed my mind it would be to much black on my rig

I used DupliColor Bed armour on the grill and my bumpers. Love the look and durable as hell
