Which ever way you decide to go, grab a grill of ebay, you can find them floating around for about 80 bucks. That way you can paint it black, and if you don't like it, you didn't ruin your other one

I thought about it some more.
If I could find a paint that matched either the bumper, or more perforably the fender flares I might consider doing it.

See my thread posted a few days ago about painting with a spray can of Duplicolor bedliner. If you do it right, the color and texture is a very good match for the fender flares and bumper. The spray can only costs about $8 from the auto parts store. . .
