first time off road with my JK - OBX dunes
PICTURE FEST!!!
Didn't airdown or even go to 4WD low, waaay better than my Commander and H3 (on 34's with lockers) and I love the DuraTrac's they did awesome in the sand...

I hear ya, I go there OFTEN and always air down - but this was a quick trip and I didn't get a compressor yet. You have to drive 20 miles to air up w/o one. I got a little crazy but nothing unfamilar.

well, in the southern parts of the OBX where you are allowed on the beaches, like around Buxton, Hatteras, and on the island of Ocracoke, you are NOT allowed on the dunes. they have them clearly marked. and people driving on them has been one of many reason nature lovers are trying to shut the beach driving down in OBX.
that's why i said it looks like it was up near corolla. up there, there are no roads, and the beach is pratically open.
