'07's came with 3.21's standard in the X and Sahara with the 6spd and no towing package. If you got the towing package or an auto, you got 4:10's that year. No 3.73's in '07... Trust me, I got the 3.21's and they are dogs off-road... Although they do allow me to get 20mpg around town and 23+ on the hwy. That may be why they went back to that; to help with their overall mpg ratings...?

In historic Jeep lingo the "Sport" has always been the entry level or base model.

Well, back in the TJ days the SE was the base model with the 4cyl standard and the Sport was the mid moddle with the 6cyl std. The X, when it first came out was somewhere between the SE and Sport if I'm not mistaken...

In my mind the Sport model makes me think a step above the X. If others feel that way, then this would be a way to charge a little more for a model without really changing the equipment and pass it off as a new trim level... Marketing...

No antenna's on the 2010's... Chysler is making everything an option these days.

New hard top supplier is CSP - new flipper glass supplier MSGS. They are the same design but with greater quality control.
