Finally got to use my winch for something other than pulling stumps!

Looked like fun! Well.........................until you had to winch out, but other than that looked like fun!

Actually, the winching was part of the fun.

It was good to see what the limitations on my stock Jeep were before I choose any more mods...

I was extremely impressed in general, the only thing that I found held me back were the stock 'X' Goodyear tires, they don't shed mud at all, so after the tires get balled with mud, you're done. That aside, the tires did a lot better than I thought. It was raining, and everything was quite wet, but I was able to crawl right up some hills that were pushing 45-50 degrees. I didn't miss having lockers like I thought I would either.

Oh, and if I'd had a snorkel I could have gotten to the other side of the river...
