Finally, new wheels and tires installed
Well, my new wheels and tires were finally installed this afternoon. The dealership installed my 2 inch budget boost last Thursday and took the JK to the tire shop for installation of my new 305/65-17 (33x12.50) BFG AT KO's and Eagle Alloy wheels. Well, Eagle screwed up and shipped the wheels with the wrong bolt pattern. They promised to overnight the correct set to us for Friday, but screwed up again and shipped them to the wrong address! Needless to say, I was not happy having a vehicle I've owned less than a week sitting at the tire shop for two days. Anyway, the wheels arrived today and the shop got them installed. The wheels are 17x9 inch Eagle Alloy 197's with 4.5 inches of backspacing. They fit great with no rubbing (on the street anyway). Here are some pics of the JK, the wheels and a couple shots to give people an idea of the stance with a 305mm (12.50 inch) wide tire on a 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

Thanks for the compliments. The tire/wheel package cost me about $2500 but it's a little more complicated than that. The dealer agreed to buy back all of my OEM wheels and tires as well as buy and install a 2 inch budget boost as part of our deal. The wheels were only $150 each but the freakin' BFG's were $300 a piece for four of them. The fifth one cost me $330 because my tire guy's usual vendor only had four and he had to get the spare from another dealer. Then there were the usual fees. (Ga requires a tire disposal fee on every new tire sold, even if the old tires are not disposed of).
