Resurrecting this thread - zombie style

When using this hoist, can you close the back window (securing with tape). I have a some built in shelving that I have to clear as I raise the hard top, and I am hoping this solves most of my issues.

you can have the window closed.. just with some painters tape or somthing will hold it closed I think.

I say painters tape so there isnt any kind of residue when you take it off.

I used a small bungee cord...held it fine all summer.

Good deal, I have seen some with the larger hooks that would prevent the window from closing. Looks like I will be picking this up this weekend.

Here's another option I came across and purchased, similar to the Harken but less complicated. Haven't implemented it yet as I am in the process of moving but looks good. Manual version $128
