Finally got my 2.8 l Diesel JK.
It is sensational and the 2.8 is just such a good motor and drves it like a dream.
Thought that I would put a a couple of pics with some other machines of USA origin.
They are pretty good off road also.

I did not have a choice of colour .I was told a CRD Rescue Green is avail and if I want it it is mine or wait untill Aug for a different colour.
No I dont want to swap thank you this car is very very nice and gos very well.
It is a Turbo.
and no they are not the origonal tyres .it came with Bridgestone Dueler 245/75/16 tyres but I got it deliverd(a local tyre store trades the Bridgestone in)with Cooper ST 265/75/16 tyres. They are very nice.
I drove a petrol one a few weeks ago and it was OK but the diesel, wow.
Paricularly on the motorway 110kph just cruising.

And another thing i notice, the licence plate on the back is moved, and the front bumper is totally diffrent and the rear looks changed as well with a light.
I assume its legal stuff, but why?
And i wonder how much extra the diesel ways compared to the V6.

Would you mind posting more close ups and detailed pics of the engine. Also, do you know how many miles per gallon you're getting? Do you happen to know how much extra the diesel option was? Thanks. P.S. Great rig! I'd trade mine for one as soon as they become available here.

The bumper is the Aust Design rule (and I think Europe)for pedestrian safety .It looks a bit like the D9 blade.
The light on the back is a brake light.Another requirement .
The diesel option was an extra couple of grand but very well worth it.Gos so well.
As for the fuel consumption. They say that it should be about 9.5 litre to the 100 kilometers and the trip meter in rthe car tells me I was averaging 10 litre to the 100 kilometers on the weekend. As for MPG you will have to work it out.
