I tow this behind my motor home and that is the brake away switch that activates my aux brake system. If the hitch breaks loose it will stop the jeep.
The bar hanging down is part of my tow hitch. That can come off but I tow it enough that I just leave that on most of the time. If I need D rings then I just take that off and put them on.
There is also a wire comming out of the drivers side high lift jack point where I hook up the lights like a trailer.
