Fender Chop, lift and 35's (2 pics)
So I've been doing a few mods to the Jeep since I got it last month.
3.5" Lift, RC Dual Steering Damper, Fender Hack, Cragar Soft 8 15" Wheels, MyGig REN stereo, 35" ProComp Xtreme MT's
All in all I'm pleased with all the mods except the 35's. They measure out at 33.5", but they only have 12/32" of tread. If I hadn't gotten them for next to free I'd be disappointed. Either way I'm going to run these until they wear out then go for a true 37" tall tire. Probably a Pitbull Rocker Radial and trim the pinch weld, and re-gear. I'm hesitant to re gear though, as I run a normal highway tire when I'm not wheeling or trying to impress tire biters. Basically, 35's don't look much different from 33's, so if you're thinking of going with a big tire, skip tot he 37's right away.
