A secretary where I used to work had her oil changed at WalMart during lunch.
They forgot to tighten the oil pan plug.
By the time she got back to work, enough oil was lost to cause BIG engine problems.
WalMart denied responsibility.
I don't know whether they ended up paying for a new engine or not.
Unless it requires special tools or equipment (or is covered under warranty), I don't trust other hands either.

Had a coworker who had the same thing happen. Some of the guys at our local walmart do a good job at mounting tires and stuff like that, but most of the time you get the other 75% who are just there for a paycheck.

Oh i am sure people are going to be all over this saying spacers are bad....
But that would be BS, look at the pictures. The spacers didnt fail.
THE STUDS FAILED.
that could happen to anyone, spacers or not, if you overtorque the lugnuts.

what it looks like to me is the studs in the spacer snapped off flush. 3 of them, you can still see them in the picture.
the covered acorns are on the factory wheel studs, all 5 of which are in place, again, you can see them in the picture. (although i wouldnt use the covered lugnuts in that location)
IMO looking at those pictures, there isnt anything wrong with the spacer, and the STUDS are where the problem lies. Either they where substandard, or overtorqued.
