Factory bumper chopped, winched, and hooped...
O.K. It's labor day. I was bored. So I finally did it after thinking about the project for at least a month. I had previously chopped the ends off of the factory bumper and that got the wheels turning. I read a couple of threads where other's added the winch. I went one step further and added a winch hoop. For the non-mechanic that I am, it was a pain in the ass, but turned out precisely as I had hoped...

Excellent job. I really want to stub mine. Question though, my plastic bumper has 4 bolts holding it. The bolts appear to be a few inches from the square parts of the bumper. It looks like If I cut it right next to the square parts I would be cutting my bolts off. How are y'all cutting the so short? Looks like you'd lose your bolt points? Am I missing something, guess I need to crawl back under and do some more figuring.
Oh and how do you weld the plastic? Soldering iron?
Thanks.
