damn jeep on jeep crime 
i love the fact that any time another car comes into contact with (or our jeeps come into contact with
) is damn near totaled while for the most part our jeeps remain unscathed 
too bad about the accident though glad all are ok

Wow Skippman, total bummer about being in an accident. Pretty cool that the bumper and tire carrier helped prevent more damage than what could have been. Dang, and right before the Bison ranch run. Make sure you get a good body shop to check it out for a frame damage...sometimes a good hit can bend stuff below also. I feel for ya.

The lift is what really saved your JK. The bumpers did not match, and your bumper won over the radiator.
If you have the same bumper with no lift I would suspect that you would have sustained more damage. Also the Libby absorbed all the energy, which prevented injurys.
The insurance company want to discuss if you were hurting or going to see the doctor. They want to verify you are not hurt which lowers their liability.
