Wow, that looks like a well engineered product. Is the hitch integrated into the bumper or is it separate? It appears it fits all my needs.

1) full width for maryland law
2) tapers back from the wheel well to allow large diameter tire
3)keeps full view of liscense plate without having to relocate tag
4)integrated hitch??
5)Wont have to open swing arm separately to get to tailgate
6) It even looks like if you did a 1" body lift it would line up with the fender flares

that looks great! sadly there is no way i can aford something like that right now... still saving for my lift kit. i am going to get one of these because i love that feature that the tire carrier and tail gate are still one piece. none of that swing one, then the other. awesome design.

It's designed to work with the stock receiver hitch.

No, I don't, but I've been looking at it (trail series) for a while now. It's definitely one of my favorites! I can't decide if I want a stubby or full width.

My goal was to get a rear bumper and tire carrier first in order to get the extra weight of the 35" spare off the rear gate before it started to cause any problems.

Front bumper will be next when funds become available again.

yup, the fact that the gate was tied to the carrier and all opened as one piece was one of the main reasons I chose this bumper besides it's obvious good looks.

It wasn't until after I got it installed that I figured out it also solved the problem of the tail gate wanting to close sometimes on it's own when loading up gear. There is just enough friction in the pivoting joints of the coupling to keep that from happening.

It looks like Expediton One is working on a gerry can mount.

As far as mounting a hi-lift, I'm not sure - maybe Expedition One will chime in on this.
