I've been thinking about that. It doesn't show all of the work that Chad did beforehand to map that initial route. I'm thinking of adding an interview video with him to explain that. Chad is making this route freely available, but sometimes creators ask to be paid. Sam Correll and the TAT, for example. And I think folks should know why it's important to pay them for initially creating, maintaining, and continuing to create new routes.

Another video in the OK Circumnavigation series. This one starts off with a six minute discussion (Mike calls it a "tirade" during part 1) by me about trash ...

During A Gathering of Wanderers, we would drive on Elephant Hill Trail and exit via the little-used south entrance to Canyonlands Needles District. That meant climbing out at Bobby's Hole. Bobby's Hole is a rather intimidating, steep and rocky ascent. I have put together an "A Closer Look" video for it. It shows GoPro video from four different Jeeps making the run up, and includes a hike up that shows just how bad the road (it's generous calling it that) is. You can view the entire 26 minute video here, but if you prefer to look at particular segments (such as the hike and one particular vehicle configuration), read the video description and use the hot link time stamps ...

The day 5 NVBDR video is now online. It covers a dispersed campsite to Jarbidge along the alternate route. The video continues to day 6, which was the departure from Jarbidge back toward civilization Unless you've traveled this area, this is Nevada unlike you've ever thought of it ...

A few pics from day 5/6 (includes a little of Idaho) ...

Thanks for posting that Mark. Great content as usual. I have enjoyed following your travels over the years and I know many others do as well.
