Default Evo Front Coilover Rubbing...

Just seeing if anyone with the EVO front coil-over set up installed has had or is having rubbing issues?

I just got my kit installed this past weekend and it is now rubbing when I am at full turn in either directions and have the side up on a rock or anything higher then 6". The higher up it goes the worse it gets. I attempted to adjust my upper and lower control arms to see what would help. Seems the shorter I make the uppers the better it gets (More caster, but my pinion angle goes down=driveline binding/vibe). I talked to ORE and am waiting back for a reply from them.

I have 35"12.50 with 4.25 backspacing on 17x8 wheels.

Just seeing if anyone is having this issue.

Yes, I had some pretty good sidewall contact at full turn when I was running my 35's on the 4.7" BS AEV wheels. After getting a set of Spidertrax 1.5" spacers (which puts me at 3.2" BS) the issue was solved.

Ya I heard from another forum member about the issue and they installed wheel spacers as well. It minimized it but granted they are running wider tires.

Good to hear it fixed it from you being you and I are running pretty much the same set up and a 2-door.

LOL!! thanks fish, i just reread the thread and saw that. i dunno, i didn't have this problem but, looking at the pics, i think it could easily be fixed with wheel spacers or new wheels with 3.5" of BS.
