Default Enlarged rear storage compartment and bed linded cargo area

Got tired of stuffing all my trail gear in the tiny factory storage compartment so I cut it out and welded up my own. New box is 8" deep by 27" wide. Tons more room.

Went the cheap rout with the bed liner and got a Herculiner kit. Overall Im very happy with the results. The lid is not on it because the liner was far from dry when i took the pics.

I dont have the factory muffler so Im not sure if this would have fit a stock set up. I have a flowmaster welded in place of the factory muffler. Ive got about 2 inches of clearance. Im going to see how hot it gets before i put anything in it. Might have to move it if its to hot.

ok, i have a flowmaster 80 series in the stock location as well, it is much smaller than stock and i've measured a few times so i think i should be able to fit something similar, i've been meaning to make a larger storage tub for a while now since the 2dr's are really lacking in storage room!

On the unlimiteds you have 8.5" from the floor to the sway bar. I would think it would be the same on the 2 drs.
