Engine swap

JK engine swap
Hey Brian,
I am fixing to swap in a 5.7 Hemi. It was the obvious choice because the 4.7 has only about 20 more horsepower than the 3.8 that came stock. I am swapping both engine and transmission and going to an atlas transfer case so most of the swap consists of motor mounts and a trans crossmember. Street and performance in Arkansas can help with any wiring you need. Burnsville said he would have engine mounts for sale some time in the future. I am getting my engine and transmission from the same truck so I will get the factory mounts and modify them to work.Hope this helps.

Give Jack at Avenger Superchargers a call. I know he already has done a 3.8 Supercharger. I was way happy with my blower from him on the 4.0 TJ. I absolutely loved it, and the install was a breeze. When I talked to him at SEMA he said that the 3.8 was much easier because of the new computer in the JK. Power was great, and no adapters to have to deal with.
