Again, another faulty 2011 vs 2012 comparison incorrectly attributed to the new engine. This was really a test of different rear end gear ratios, and the new 5 speed automatic transmission. Its pretty obvious now, that no one wants to make the only bona fide test, which is a 2011 manual versus a 2012 manual, with the same rear end ratios. Also, notice they quoted a 0-60 time of 8.4 seconds. And the drag race? I'd say, using the pace method, the 2012 was pulling away at about 5 mph faster. Not exactly breathtaking.
