I didn't install mine but i watched it get put on The guy who did mine did a lot of dry fitting and double checking before marking it out and welding. Measure 5 times and weld once

Now that my mind is whirling....
Idea for a lower tie rod flip....
Wonder if it would work if you just flipped your ends (not the tie rod) and used the teraflex tapered inserts and drill out your knuckles?????

This kit does not use new knuckles. It is designed for stock. But he only did the flip kit. To truly get the correct steering geometry, the track bar needs to be parallel to the drag link which the extended bracket at the frame side does. Unless completely installed, I don't believe you would have remedied the bump steer issue of a lifted Jeep.

Yes, do both drag link flip and track bar relocation bracket to keep things parallel and flat. No real need to get tie rod up other than for clearance, which may not be worth the trouble. It will hit the diff cover unless you also move it forward...
