Finally - after 18 months - I got the doors off. At first I wanted to get them off just because I could. But driving around without them was really nice and I can't wait to get them off again... I laughed to myself when I thought almost instantly about the thread on the pegs for your foot when the doors are off. I would also add that I finally used the Lange mirror. No complaints. It whistled a little but it really didn't bother me. It seemed to stay put. I did add a couple of washers between the plate and the body to make sure it didn't scratch. Oh, I also happen to get behind an older (WWII? ) Jeep... that was kind of cool...

It was one of those days where all the arguments, discussions, or thoughts about JK models, problems, mods, etc go out the window - cruising with the top down and doors off makes all of that crap seem very minor... a few pics...

our summer sucks. it rains every day... now the rest of the year, is plain awesome.

i goto work doors off, top down this morning... sunny. it has rained all day and im hoping itll clear for my ride home at 11.
