The roof and doors have been off for quite some time now and I am sure I will be going through a mini depresion when winter hits and everything has to go back on.

I get lots of looks, mostly from little kids who think it's the coolest thing they have ever seen. I've gotten a few angry people tell me it's illegal, one guy flicked a cigarette butt at me at a stop light, but I chalk it up to jealousy.
My co-workers seem to have a big problem with it for some reason.

have any of you had a hard rain with the top and doors off? Does the inside dry out fast? And what about the electronics, they are supposed to be water resistent.

sme- I will let you know ater on today as last night while I was at a friends a flash storm rolled through and completely soaked everything. the stereo was working fine on the ride home in the down pour and there was water everywhere so I am going to say that it is water resistant enough.
