took mine off last night..WOW!!! we're expecting thunderstorms tomorrow..i threw on my soft top and my cab cover, which i strapped over the door hinges..little less than half the openings are exposed on bottom, and i have no carpets..i was going to put the doors back on, but im addicted and will just have my girlfriend drive me to work..or ill just rip the cover off and drive anyways

Check with your local police and see how strict they are with that. The laws in Massachusetts say you need a drivers side. I asked the senior lieutenant at the department I work at about it, figuring he's a police Lt and has owned Jeeps. He told me that I'd be fine as long as I have a rear view. I've been doorless for most of the last 2 weeks in MA and RI and have had no issues whatsoever. If you do get stopped, just play stupid and don't be a jerk and they'll most likely let you off with a warning.

I'm still gonna hit a local scrap yard to pick up some cheap motorcycle mirrors. You have no idea how much you rely on mirrors until you don't have them.

Today was the first day without the front doors. I have a 6 & 9 year old and I haven't ordered my tube doors/mesh yet for the back, so its the back doors for them.
