In the middle of working on mine now. I used a cloth torx combo to remove my door bolts and left them silver while bedlining the hinges.

hinges bedlined?

if you want to do the hood hings as well a good way to do it is to swap them out with a set of the door ones once they have been bedlined... then you can use the ones form the hood for the doors... alot easier to drive around without doors then it is to drive without a hood

Has anyone done this to a Sahara, other than a black one. Since the Sahara doesn't have black fenders. I also have a Red Rock Jeep, but the fenders are also red. I really like the looks of yours, OP er's. with matching fenders.

Yikes, great idea! My rear hinges and grill are chipped from the cinders they put on the roads here in the winter. Now I won't have to worry about color matching when I repaint/bedline! Schweeet!

I'm thinking a 2 inch or so strip across the leading edge of the hood might work to cover up the chips as well.
