door ding/dimple/dent hide...
i thought about this then i also remember reading about it here to, so i thought i'd try it... the badge was 23$ from the dealer double sided tape 6$ use fishing line or string to take off drivers side badge... i think it looks good and if i ding it again atleast the door will be hitting a thicker piece of metal...

I've got a ding in the same place, too bad I didnt put it there. Stupid dealership did it while trying to fix the door clunk/rattle a little over a year ago, wouldnt take responsibility for that or the scratch they left on my hood.

That sucks. I would be in their lot taking the damaged parts off another JK!

Too Common
Guys, what is the liklehood that I have dings in the same place exactly, 08 Sahara? I know I did not put them there, the one on the drivers side is worse than the one on the passenger...is it something in the factory that causes the dents during the build process?

you didn't put them there, your doors did. If they swing open without the strap on them, they contact right there and leave a dent

The same exact thing happened to me when I brought my jeep in to fix a leaking roof on a 6 month old jeep.
