Default dirt bike on reciver hitch?

Does anybody ride moto X and not want to haul a trailer? Any body have a pic of their bike on the back of the jeep? Just wondering if this can be done with a 37" spare and rancho tire carrier??

That tire must stick out a good ways. I doubt one of those moto-haulers would fit. Even if you fabbed a way for it to fit tire and bike, I think the extra weight from being so far from the hitch would increase the force felt on the hitch and would not work well.

I had it with a stock spare and there was plenty of room. But I think it might fit. Your bike will be close to your spare but it's not a bad thing... even if it touches, you could tie down your bike against it and this way, the bike wouldn't wobble....
As long as your handle bars clear and they should...

The outer wall of the stock spare is about 11 inches from the tail gate. The outer wall of a 37" tire on the Rancho carrier is about 18-20 inches from the tail gate. It's a very odd carrier... It would be great if it could fit.

A honda 250R weighs 225 lbs. with a full tank. If it was tightly strapped to the rear tire, that would take off a little weight too.

Maybe you should also look at the LOD or Smittybilt type of bumpers. They not only bolt to the frame crossmember (the place the factory hitch bolts) but they also attach to the frame rails on the sides. May be able to handle the weight a little better? Just a thought.
