Did you ever wonder how hot your JK heater is?

Yep, what he said about the 2 min warm up and 5 min turkey roast... My defrost doesnt work that great, I really cant feel much air blowing out of the top of dash but I do have a tornado out the vents. End of the driveway im turning the temp down to 1/2 and fan to 1.

I dont really have a defrosting problem since my baby sleeps in the garage.

No wonder I have to turn it down every time I stop with the doors off.

every person that rides in my jeep makes the same comment. Dang, your heater is on fire. My jeep warms up faster than any other vehicle I have owned or drove. And it gets really hot. I have owned over 20 vehicles.

ha, 47 deg and rain? I've driven through -16F, snow and strong wind over Loveland Pass (about 12,000 ft) with the cross wind strong enough to blow through the seal around the door, and STILL didn't have the heat on all the way high! I can beleive it can get pretty hot!!!

I have also driven over the pass in 45F and overcast with the doors off and the heater (on high) was enough to keep me warm! I guess there were a few things that the designers got right on the new Jeeps!

Default same issue

Not sure if that can happen but i turn it up high and hear a lot of noise but thats about it. 15 minutes later i've de-fogged.
Just got mine back from the dealer today. I had the same issues as you and thought the heat sucked ass. They replaced the heater core, blower housing, and the blend door.

I can't believe how damn hot this thing is now.
I can finally brag about my furnace like everyone else.
