Default decided to paint my grille shell

got bored while sitting around today, so i said hey, lets paint my grille shell! well, here it is

I used black rustolium bumper/trim spraypaint with primer filler for extra hold and to try and prevent chips. over all im satisfied with the rustolium. now i just need to pull off the fender flares and prime/spray them too

You wouldn't necessarily have to pull em off. I used Krylon Fusion spray paint when I did my grill, fenders, and bumpers on mine. It's a paint that specifically bonds to plastic like the fenders and won't chip or anything. All I had to do was tape everything off and spray away. I'll post some pics for ya...

My jeep when I first got it, by the time I painted the bumpers and fenders, they had faded to this ugly light purplish color. I gave a few coats of Satin black Krylon Fusion and they looked awesome. Even did it to my new Bushwacker Pocket flares before I installed em. Lastly the finished product...

Yes, I prepped it with paint thinner to remove all the dirt and bug guts first, sanded with 700 grit paper and then used wil bond after sanding it to remove the excess sanding dust.
