ABSOLUTELY. The install is as easy as the write up shows. I do a decent amount of highway driving and had the hood flutter all the time. Installed these and never had it again. The first time you close them is a pain, but now it opens / closes pretty easily. It's worth the cost of the replacement latches.

THANKS dood.. ive had mine sitting on my tool box for weeks just waiting for this..
im afraid ill scratch up my 5 day old paint... plus i only have 1 vice grips.
i think blue painters tape will be a good way to protect the paint in case i slip.

i love these things, found mine on ebay where some guys lease was up so he parted out his stuff, put these on and havent had any issues at all, but the are a bitch to close, gotta pull a lil UMMMF on em'

I have these sitting in my Jeep waiting to install.
Mine came with blue loctite already on the screws and they instruct you to remove the lower part of the connector prior to breaking the pins. This way you break both pins and tighten them up while clear of the paint.
