Daystar 1.75" Lift w/33's - Picture
#41
Hey I love the setup. I'm seriously thinking about using the 1.75" Daystar kit with my 285/70/R17 BFG MT's but was wondering if I needed to make any adjustments or add ons besides just the spacer lift?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No additions are necessary, but I'm going to put longer shocks on. With the 1.75" lift you will be missing that much travel in your suspension on downward travel. Teraflex also sells shock extender brackets if you want to keep you stock shocks.

Do you happen to have any pictures up closer and directly from the rear? I would be interested in seeing how the new tires fit under the stock flares, as in, how much wider are they in relation to the stock tires. I feel the stock Rubicon tires are a little too far in, and would like to see how yours match up to the outside of the flares...thanks!
Also, seeing how your setup looks, do you thing the Teraflex 2.5" would be too high for 33" tires?

I would think that the 2.5 inch might sit a little high for my tastes but if you were planning on bumpers, winch, hi-lift, and other heavy items I bet it would look pretty good.

What shocks are you looking at? I like how your rig looks nice and level with this kit and suits 33s well. I may have to go this route.

Isn't enough to only put a 3/4" Daystar Lift Kit in a Rubicon for using 285/70R17?
I will appreciate help on this as I want my rubi to look with stock appeareance but with these tires.

Wow this thread is old, But regardless. The 1.75" spacer with 1"BL seems like a good place to start to fit 34-35"s with a rescession budget. Anyone running this now with pics on a 2 door? I was thinking it would be a good place to start as the 1" BL could be kept when moving to the eventual 3-4" lift, and the spacer added when new drive shafts are bought to add extra height.
Has anyone done any of this on a 2 DR and have pics to shoW??? Much thanks if you do!!!
