Your sooo addicting. Just finished the grill/cowl and thinking about hitting up the wheels! So many mods so little time...

I was considering getting the matte black decal for the hood but went this route instead. Was amazed at the results from the spray can. Not sure if I'd do the entire hood (not my thing) but the duplicolor works great. I'd highly recommend it so far. Now the real test how it holds up around my parents farm this summer/Ohio winters.

The sides do not come off as you stated... Hahahaha trust me I tried!!! Look to be small welds holding them on. I just taped them off, scuffed and painted. It was actually really easy to tape them off with the wide gap in the seem. Raising the hood helps to isolate the leading edge when taping. Obviously paint in a garage or with 0 wind as you don't want to get this stuff anywhere else.
